‘ Deze video met de Duitse financieel-journalist Ernst Wolff is zeer de moeite waard. Hij is zo compact, dat je hem een paar keer achter elkaar moet bekijken. Ik heb hem net opnieuw twee keer bekeken. Klasse!
Wolff begint zijn verhaal met het schilderen van de achtergrond van de familie van Claus Schwab, hetgeen ik al bijzonder boeiend vind.’

–        ‘ Ik had hem ook al eerder gezien. Je moet als kijker/luisteraar liefst over enige achtergrondkennis beschikken om alle info die in deze video is samengepakt goed te kunnen plaatsen, inbedden. Wolff is elke geval geen groot fan Schwab: “Hij is iemand die zijn huik naar wind hangt.” Deze Corona-hype zal Schwab ongetwijfeld uitnutten (moedwillig germanisme).

Enkele pupillen hebben gevraagd of we deze video samen met hen kunnen bekijken, mede omdat hun kennis van het Duits erg pover is – en dan druk ik me eufemistisch uit.’

‘Dat kan wat mij betreft, maar dan moeten ze de video zelf eerst minstens twee keer zelf hebben bekeken.’

–        ‘ Okay. We zetten het op de site, en dan horen we het wel. Alles van de video een op een vertalen, gaat mij te ver, al zou het voor delen van dit verhaal zeker nuttig zijn.’
