‘ Als “opwarmertje”: wat gebeurt er wanneer je Bill Clinton, Angela Merkel en een doos sigaren in een kamertje bij elkaar zet?’

  • ‘ Tja, dan moet er waarschijnlijk iets in de trant “Grote Geopolitiek” worden gewrocht, of gefrunnikt? Is het nou bizar, raar of strategisch dat Monica Lewinski het sperma van Bill op haar jurk, of was het een schort, opving? Wat is er eigenlijk met de sigaar gebeurd? Is die niet door René Magritte geschilderd? “Ceci n’est pas … ” Monica is er multimiljonair mee gewerden en ze woont in The Village. De hele wereld wilde het verhaal over haar en het kwakkie van Bill horen. De mensen konden er geen genoeg van krijgen. Iedere keer dat ze het verhaal vertelde, verkocht ze het ook: kassa! Bill heeft er eveneens garen bij gesponnen, want hij werd een nóg populairdere gast op jet-set-events dan hij toch als was. Zijn slopen van de Glass-Steagall firewall viel als heldendaad in het niet vergeleken met hetgeen hij met Monica en de sigaar verhapstukte. Toppolitiek bedrijven, bestaat voor 90% uit amusement genereren, liefst ter hoogte van de onderbuik en lager.
    Zat Merkel, net als Clinton, niet ook vaak in die Lolita-expressen (de privé-jets) van Jeffrey Epstein? Clinton wel, en Donald Trump ook. Dat kun je op allerlei video’s zien en ze zullen ook op de inmiddels geopenbaarde “gastenlijsten” (of klantenlijsten) van Epstein voorkomen. Heeft Clinton ooit een Nobelprijs gekregen? Arafat en Rabin wel, toch? Vermoed ik althans.’

‘ Waarom heeft Stormy Daniels niet dezelfde truc met Donald Trump uitgehaald. Wij, in het Vrije en Liberale Westen, wij bouwen vooral midddels onze politieke volksvertegenwoordigers een reputatie bij de rest van de wereld op, die bijna niet meer stuk kan. Net nog heeft de staat Israël een schrobbering gekregen inzake Gaza, maar meneer Rutte en mw. Ollongren en de rest, gaan ijzerenheinig door met Netanyahu (en de Bidens en de Zelensky’s) knuffelen en vertroetelen. Hoogstwaarschijnlijk krijgen Rutte c.s. in ruil voor hun vriendschap van de Israëli nóg geavanceerdere afluistersoftware dan Pegasus? Wie weet wat de Mossad nog meer aan snoepgoed kan uitdelen?
Zeg, zijn de gastenlijsten van de Davos- en Bilderberggangers en de Epstein-lijsten al met elkaar vergeleken? Daar moet welhaast van een grote overlap sprake zijn. Misschien gebruiken ze dezelfde jets? Misschien zitten ze zelfs bij elkaar op schoot – uit ruimtegebrek. Mw. Sigrid Kaag zou dól zijn op schootzitten, en die vliegt wat af hoor. Letterlijk: politiek op hóóg niveau. Op elkaars schoot, omdat ze bezorgd en voorzichtig zijn met het Klimaat en dus met en bij elkaar liften? Ze vliegen op “groene kerosine.” Alles voor het klimaat. Gaat mijn fantasie nu met me op de loop, of moet ik geloven dat zij hun eigen apekool geloven?’

  • ‘ Fantasie? Als je Clinton uit die foto gumt, dan is de kwestie Gaza-Palestina-Israël binnen de kortste keren in kannen en kruiken hoor. Met die Clinton erbij wordt het nooit wat. Ook met terugwerkende kracht niet. Die gast deugt voor geen meter en hij hééft nooit gedeugd. Dat tweeluik over Oekraïne vind ik ijzersterk. Iedereen meent inmiddels dat de door-en-door-corrupte Oekraïne op apegapen ligt en “we” niet door moeten gaan met het smijten van goed geld naar kwaad geld, maar zo’n deskundoloog als meneer Serry geeft de hoop niet op. Desnoods vecht hij door tot ver voorbij de laatste Oekraïner. Petje af hoor! Wat een doordouwer, die man. Oud-ambassadeur ook nog. De Nederlandse reputatie kan in die contreien vast niet meer stuk. Je zou bijna zeggen dat zo’n stukje in de prollenkrant een open sollicitatie is. Om mee te mogen te doen aan het circus rond de “wederopbouw” van een …. tja, hoe wil je de naargeestige en ellendige negorij intussen noemen?’

‘ Het is een opinie-stuk hè en dat mag altijd. Iedereen mag er in Nederland een mening op na houden. Dat is in de VS wel even anders. Naar verluidt is die senator Vance na zijn interview bij Tucker Carlson nog net niet met pek en veren door dorpsstraat gejaagd.’

At that meeting, so many concessions were made to Moscow by the Clinton administration that we now have an almost lunatic state of affairs: in order to make acceptable the expansion of NATO to contain a potentially dangerous Russia, we are virtually making Russia an honorary member of NATO, with something close to veto power.

Some of the initially most ardent supporters of expansion are now deeply dismayed. But surely such an outcome was foreseeable. After all, the realists knew from the start that the policy they were pushing would be negotiated not by a Talleyrand or a Metternich—or an Acheson or a Kissinger—but by Clinton, the man who feels everyone’s pain. In that instance he felt Yeltsin’s pain—and gave away much of the store. Kissinger has been clear-eyed enough to label that a fiasco and to recognize that there is now an intellectual rift dividing those who advocate NATO expansion: a rift between those who still see the need to preserve NATO as a military alliance against a potential enemy (Russia) and those who now see it in terms of a collective security system embracing a Europe now made whole by the inclusion of Russia. ‘

The Secret Life of Bill Clinton: The Unreported Stories is a critical biography about certain episodes during the administration of former United States president Bill Clinton by English author and investigative journalist Ambrose Evans-Pritchard.

‘  Davidson had the same tutor as Bill Clinton at Oxford, enjoyed Clinton’s “charm and geniality,” and contributed to his 1992 presidential campaign. “I knew he was a bounder, of course, but my hope was that he’d turn out to be the Carlos Menem of North America and slash entitlement spending,” said Davidson.

But questions of economic management were soon overtaken by the much greater issue of the rule of law. For Davidson the Foster cover-up is a marker of the declining integrity of the American democratic system. If the U.S. judicial system cannot summon the courage to deal with this case, if it behaves like the Mexican or the Indonesian or the Nigerian judiciaries, then there is no reason to pay a “rule of law” premium on U.S. stocks, bonds, and real assets.
He recommends investing in countries at a positive stage of the moral and cultural cycle, like Chile, where judges, prosecutors, and police cannot be bought so easily. A Chilean policeman in the 1990s, he asserts with contrarian mischief, is much more honest than a U.S. cabinet officer.

But at a deeper level Davidson is afraid that Foster’s death, which he calls an “extra-judicial execution,” is a sign of incipient fascism. He notes that the Clintons have mastered the art — described by Hannah Arendt in The Origins of Totalitarianism — “of turning all questions of fact into questions of motive.”
The Clintons do not try to rebut allegations. They use surrogates to muddy the waters and smear opponents, just as the National Socialists used to do. That they should be able to employ this practice to  obscure the violent death of a top White House aide throws into doubt the durability of the republic.
“A government that winks at murder will wink at anything,” he says, sniffing the aroma of a Corton Charlemagne, Premier Cru. “What’s left after that? Cannibalism?”
